This ring is based on surrealist writer Italo Calvino’s short story Distance of the moon.

This ring works so nicely with the flower ring that I thought I would re-edition it (luckily it was an open edition the first time!!) so that the two can be worn together. I first made this ring a few years ago and it was impossible to photograph so photographing it here alongside my 2 yr old one where the tarnish shows the imagery more clearly.
