FAQ

  • Do you accept commissions that are not rings?

Yes - I am happy to make pendants, earrings, necklaces etc. If you can send me as much information as possible about what you’d like and a budget if it is unlike anything I have made before.

  • Can I commission a gold piece?

Yes - happy to cast your piece in 9ct, 14ct, 18ct or 22ct gold

  • What is a Hallmark?

Hallmarks are stamps applied by the London Assay office to certify the metal. Each maker has their own unique stamp - mine is W H. Please see more here.

  • Do you work with customers stones?

I prefer to work with stones that I have sourced (so that I can be sure of what they are) but I am open to the idea of working with your stones. There is always a small possibility that stones will be damaged during setting.

  • Do you work with metals supplied by customers?

Yes, I can but all the gold needs to be hallmarked for our caster to accept it. I can also have the metal scrapped and put this amount of money towards a new piece. Please email me to discuss this.

  • Do you do workshops or private tutorials?

I don’t officially do any work shops but if you and a friend wanted to come and make something in my little studio then please get in touch and we can discuss options.

  • Do you do in person sizing?

If you’re London based and want to come to have your finger sized in my studio (SE5) then let me know - I book 15 minute slots.
